Walter joined United Country Real Estate in October 2020 via Foothills Premier Properties LLC. He is an integral member of the Foothills Group.
Walter’s fiduciary experience has been as a Receiver for the State of Colorado, Trustee for Trust, Special Conservator, Court Approved Executor, and Plan Administrator for a profit contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Walter’s real estate experience started with his turn-around work running of companies that were financially distressed. He got his real estate license in 2019
Walter earned his BS in Range Management, Cum Laude, Colorado State University, 1975. He spent years doing ranch plans calculating grazing capacities, and AIU (animal unit month) calculations, and Environmental Impact statements for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). After that he tested out of his MS in Applied Economics from the University of Hawaii in 1979. He received his doctorate in, Agricultural & Resource Economics, from the University of Hawaii in1981

We had specific criteria to be located within 30 minutes on a throughway to a major hospital, have room for our wool processing business, and pasture for our sheep and farm animals, and we had financial constraints.
We needed to sell our Estes Park property and buy our new property within one week of closing. Walter coordinated the sale of our existing mountain property. He found around 70 properties and showed around two dozen properties. Eventually, he hit all of our changing criteria and wants.

We had the need to sell a commercial building in Grand Junction, Colorado. Since we do not live in Grand Junction, there were special problems arriving at an appropriate price for sell and/or lease.
